Greetings from London. It’s very early on Thursday morning and I’m making my way home! Woo Hoo! I will create a few more blog posts so that you can see a few of the people/events I’ve not yet shared. Six weeks of non-stop activities are impossible to capture in a timely fashion – especially with internet challenges and almost daily power outages.
For today, please enjoy yet another adorable toddler who joined the praise choir last Sunday. My heart melted! I laughed and cried watching his “moves”. He was so earnest in his effort! It is never too early for Zimbabwean children to express their joy in worship! I hope it brings you some joy as well. I’m ready to be home, but grateful beyond measure for another chance to be with friends in the United Church of Christ in Zimbabwe. And volunteering with the Global Ministries Child Sponsorship Program was delightful and heartbreaking, all at the same time. I return committed to sharing the story and hoping to inspire support for the amazing, resilient young people. That’s all for today.
